Voting Day
 
Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. While there is no federal law mandating voting leave, most states require employers to provide their employees with time off from work to vote in an election. Below are links to recent FranklyHR articles with additional information:
 
 
 
Veterans Day
 
Veterans Day is observed on Monday, November 11th.  Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon and Tennessee require private employers to provide time off to veterans on Veterans Day. Employers may choose whether to provide paid or unpaid time off.
 
 
Thanksgiving Day
 
Thanksgiving is celebrated Thursday, November 28th this year. A festive time of food, family, friends and much more. It can be challenging juggling all the aspects of what the holidays bring. Do you know how you are handling the holiday season with your employees?
