Philadelphia Salary History Ban
The Philadelphia Wage Equity Ordinance took effect May 23, 2017, but was challenged in court and a preliminary injunction was granted. In February 2020, an appeals court upheld the ordinance. The Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations will enforce the ordinance beginning September 1, 2020.
