by Greg Andress on March 22, 2017

Distracted Driving.jpgApril has been designated “Distracted Driving Awareness Month” to draw attention to the dangers of distracted driving. When you think of distractions on the road, you probably think of texting while driving, but there are several other contributing factors. The following distractions endanger driver, passenger, and bystander safety:

  • Using a cell phone
  • Eating or drinking
  • Talking to passengers
  • Grooming
  • Reading
  • Using a navigation system
  • Watching a video
  • Adjusting the radio

It is important to make sure your employees are being careful on the road, especially if they drive a company vehicle. Many distraction-related accidents occur during the workday or during the commute to and from work. Whether you employ commuters, manage a fleet of vehicles, or oversee a mobile sales or service team, your bottom line suffers along with your employees from distracted driving.

In our webinar, we’ll discuss the following:

  • How to identify driving hazards
  • How to use defensive driving techniques
  • How accident prevention tools can prevent accidents and injuries
