One of the first things on President Donald Trump’s agenda is to dismantle the Affordable Care Act. The exact changes remain to be seen. For now, things are status quo. Individuals must still obtain minimum essential coverage or pay a tax penalty. Employers with 50 or more full time employees must offer at least minimum value coverage at an affordable cost to employees.
