Expands Military Leave Protections
Effective August 28, 2026, Missouri expands the protections available under its military leave law to provide that eligible employees may bring a lawsuit to enforce their rights under the statute. The amendments also allow employees to take leave when ordered to service by the adjutant general (as opposed to only the governor under the prior law).
