Broadens Reasons For Military Leave
Effective September 12, 2026, Arizona expands the reasons for which military leave may be taken. Under the amended statute, military training is a qualifying reason for leave (as opposed to attending camps, maneuvers, formations, or armory drills only under the previous statute).
