CLEARWATER, Fla. – (April 3, 2014) – FrankCrum, a pioneer in the professional employer organization industry, proudly presented a check today to Trinity Café for $125,000 raised through the 7th Annual FrankCrum Golf Invitational. This year’s donation represents the largest amount raised in the history of the tournament. This brings the cumulative amount raised by the annual event beyond the $600,000 mark.

More than seven years ago, President and CEO Frank W. Crum, Jr. expressed a desire to host a fundraiser for his favorite charity. Thus, the FrankCrum Invitational benefiting Trinity Café was born. The 7th Annual FrankCrum Invitational was held on February 18th at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club and over 268 golfers participated.

In addition to presenting the golf tournament proceeds today, three FrankCrum employees also presented an additional $9,300 for Trinity Café from the company’s “Jeans Day” initiative. A majority of the company’s 200 employees choose to contribute $1 from their weekly paychecks to Trinity Café, in exchange for the privilege of wearing jeans every Friday. Colleen Rowe, Luis Rivera and Carla Mejia were chosen to present the funds to Trinity Café Chairman Jeff Darrey and Program Director Cindy Davis.

“Thanks to all of the FrankCrum team and the wonderful and generous sponsors and FrankCrum employees who support Trinity Café. This is such an important cause and the annual FrankCrum Invitational Golf Tournament is an absolutely first class event. Year after year golf participants claim this as their favorite tournament. And to all the FrankCrum employees sporting jeans each Friday, I thank you on behalf of those who no longer remain hungry because of your generosity.” said Darrey.

“We’re honored to contribute such a worthy cause,” said Crum Jr. “Trinity Café is an amazing organization that addresses the most basic of human needs for those who are hungry and underemployed. Our company is built on the idea of doing the right thing and milestones like this are so gratifying.” Mr. Crum is also on the Board of Directors of Trinity Cafe.
